NANAIMO – A Nanaimo elementary school experienced another COVID-19 exposure.
SD68 announced on Saturday, April 17 Pleasant Valley suffered its second exposure event from April 13 to 15.
The first was announced earlier in the week on April 15, for a potential exposure event on April 13.
There’s currently only two Nanaimo schools listed on Island Health’s school exposure page, with the other being Fairview elementary.
Nanaimo District Seconday School recently came off the list.
The Vancouver Island COVID Rapid Response team, headed by SD68 said in late March an increase in exposure events was likely following spring break.
