NANAIMO — A major ferry terminal linking Nanaimo and the Lower Mainland will be closed for maintenance on Saturday, March 5.
As a result, BC Ferries will re-rout the route to the Departure Bay terminal for one day only with service to Tsawwassen on a modified schedule.

The Duke Point terminal will be temporarily closed to upgrade the ramp, including replacing hydraulic valves and the control system, BC Ferries stated in a news release.
Service between Departure Bay and Horeshoe Bay will be unaffected.
The Duke Point/Tsawwassen route resume on Sunday, March 6.
