We know that Christmas is going to be a little “untraditional” this year, but I’m sure that some those long standing family Christmas traditions will still continue. What are some of your family’s Christmas traditions?
Maybe it’s getting a new Christmas tree ornament every year, or how you decorate the tree. It could be a specific gift that someone gets every year; socks, underwear, tie, slippers, chocolate, etc.
How does your family open their presents? Is it a wild free for all, or a more organized chaos? My Dad’s birthday is Christmas Day, so we have to (usually, but not this year) work that in too.
How about Christmas dinner? Is there a specific menu? Is it usually hosted at one family member’s house or is there some kind of rotation? How about Christmas baking? Yum! Christmas baking doesn’t have to go away just because of a global pandemic, right?
No matter what your regular Christmas traditions are and how they will be different this year, there are still many ways to make this Christmas a special one.
